Steven Chang

IT Manager

Steven joined °ÄÃÅ×ÊÁÏ´óÈ« in May 2021 as IT Manager to oversee internal support for global °ÄÃÅ×ÊÁÏ´óÈ« staff and the technology systems the organization uses for their work in the philanthropic sector.  He manages the logistical aspects of staff onboarding and departures in coordination with HR, Operations, and other internal teams, equips and support staff for remote work, and implement the organization’s IT strategy for the current and future business environments.

Previously Steven was a project manager at Open Society Foundations with their National and Regional Foundations Technology Team, advising and coordinating IT cybersecurity and infrastructure strategy with the international network of foundations supported by OSF.  He also spent 11 years working at The Atlantic Philanthropies as IT Systems Manager, supporting the foundation throughout the final phases of its over three decades of limited-life grantmaking.

Steven was born in Taiwan, but grew up primarily in New York.  He attended New York University majoring in Political Science and International Relations, enjoys world travel and experiencing new cultures and cuisines.
